Chainalysis Links London 2022 - Crypto Recovery 101: Beyond Investigations

Updated: Feb 24

Since it’s adoption into the mainstream, cryptocurrency success stories and seizures are all over the news. Yet still, there’s still only a small number of financial investigators and recovery professionals that feel comfortable investigating crypto and the systems that come alongside it.

As more and more people begin to use cryptocurrencies, NFTs and other virtual assets in their daily lives, getting familiar with crypto recovery is vital for law enforcement and asset recovery practitioners. But where do you start? Our Co-Founder & CEO Aidan Larkin will be teaching you how to get started with crypto recovery at Links London on the 24th February. He’ll be joined by a panel of experts with experience in both civil and criminal asset recovery across multiple jurisdictions. The panel will be led by the CTO of our partner Chainalysis, Gurvais Grigg and takes place at 2:50 - 3:25PM GMT. Links London aims to focus on the future of cryptocurrency recovery and the necessary collaborations between organizations. It will bring together industry leaders from financial institutions, crypto-asset firms and government agencies, both public and private sector, to discuss the key themes and issues that face the industry today.

They will cover everything from regulatory arbitrage to the classification of cryptocurrency as an asset in these uncertain times - even making predictions for the future both regionally and globally! Though the event is in-person, the content will be brought to a wider audience online via live streaming. The full agenda can be viewed on their website, where you can also register for your place in the livestream: https://bit.ly/3LjNFCQ Links 22 will feature a wide range of speakers, including:
