Offshore Alert Global - 9th December
Last week, Aidan was invited to join Dani Haston, the Head of Global Asset Management at our partner Chainalysis, Charlotte Meyer from the UK Government Affairs and Policy department at Binance and Justine Plenkiewicz, the co-founder of Claritas.
Their panel focused on realising seized cryptocurrency, NFTs and digital assets and the challenges presented by converting these assets into fiat currencies.

MENA Regional Conference - 17th December
Aidan was recently invited to Amman in Jordan to discuss the value of public and private sector partnerships in virtual asset management with The EU AML/CTF Global Facility (EU GF), the Jordanian National Anti-Money-Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Committee (NAMLCTFC) and the Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF).
The hybrid conference looked at how virtual assets are being used worldwide to evade sanctions, launder illicit funds and finance criminal activity. You can read more about the three-day conference on the EU AML/CFT Global Facility website.
