DevOps Engineer
DevOps Engineers at Asset Reality are responsible for building, securing, and scaling the infrastructure that powers the world’s first end‑to‑end seized‑asset management platform. This is a hands‑on role focused on reliability, security, and automation, working closely with engineering teams to scale compliant, production‑grade systems in highly regulated environments. As Asset Reality continues to grow, this role offers the opportunity to shape modern DevOps practices and operate at the intersection of technology, security, and public‑sector impact.
The Role
You will be joining Asset Reality’s Engineering team to help build and support the underlying infrastructure and tooling to build, deploy and run our solution to manage both physical and digital assets.
What you will be doing
- Collaborating with passionate technologists across multiple disciplines while evolving our platform and increasing security, resiliency and reliability
- Writing well structured, clean infrastructure as code
- Maintaining CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and software delivery
- Maintaining and improving our security posture across infrastructure, ensuring compliance with DORA, FCA, and SOCII standards.
Responsibilities
Relevant Infrastructure
We run our systems in AWS, running multiple services in K8S EKS, backed by Postgres, MongoDB, S3 and RabbitMq, written in Golang. Our frontend is a single page webapp written in Typescript. We define all of our infrastructure in terraform and execute it via CD pipelines in Github Actions. We use helm and flux to deploy OCI containers that define our k8s resources via Kustomize, following Gitless GitOps practices. Our system is monitored using the Datadog platform.
Desired skills
- Experience working in AWS environments
- Care about writing clean, well-composed, and tested infrastructure-as-code written in Golang or Typescript.
- Proven understanding of observability platforms and how to instrument infrastructure and systems for full-stack visibility.
- Modern DevOps Tooling; Proficiency with Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Good knowledge of network infrastructure design & public cloud architecture.
