Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) at Asset Reality open relationships with government agencies, particularly State and Local Law Enforcement, as well as Federal and judicial entities.This isn’t a traditional SaaS prospecting role. SDRs act as the first meaningful point of contact, helping agencies understand how Asset Reality supports their mission. The goal is to start high-quality conversations that build trust, identify champions, and lay the groundwork for modernized seizure and asset recovery programs.As part of a small, early-stage startup, you’ll gain direct exposure to leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to grow quickly within the company. The Role

You’ll prospect and engage investigative units, prosecutors’ offices, asset forfeiture divisions,and financial crime teams managing digital asset cases.Your mission is to learn how agencies operate, uncover where workflows or training fall short,and introduce Asset Reality in a way that demonstrates real value. Outreach occurs throughemail, phone, LinkedIn, and partnerships across the blockchain and investigations space.While most work is virtual, some travel may be required to attend conferences or events, oftenalongside senior team members, to connect with agencies and support outreach efforts.

The objective isn’t just to book demos; it’s to build lasting relationships where agencies feelsupported and understood long before procurement discussions begin.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage agencies working in financial crime, digital asset, or high-tech investigations
  • Research organizational structures and identify internal champions
  • Conduct outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and partner introductions
  • Understand each agency’s investigative challenges, training gaps, and funding pathways
  • Introduce Asset Reality with credibility, empathy, and mission alignment
  • Qualify opportunities based on urgency, mission alignment, and readiness to modernize
  • Maintain clear CRM notes and communications for handoff to Account Executives
  • Participate in select events and conferences to expand awareness and relationships

Preferred Experience

  • ~2 years of experience in sales development, partnerships, or outreach roles
  • Background working with law enforcement or government agencies preferred
  • Knowledge of financial crime, cyber investigations, or digital asset investigations is a plus
  • Comfortable speaking with investigators, supervisors, and procurement stakeholders
